TCFKA (The Coin Formerly Known As) Antshares, NEO, was one of the best performers in 2017 in terms of gains (NEO is also an example of how coin rebranding can drastically improve market position) and has been in more or less steadily hovering around the top10 cryptocurrencies by marketcap. NEO, also referred to as the Ethereum of China, with Da Hong Fei as its captain and a massive legion of loyal supporters, is moving forward steadily and already the first successful ICO's have been launched early 2018, among which Ontology. Impo it is interesting to see how NEO is actually a cashflow producing crypto asset (you can earn the separate crypto currency (NEO) Gas (to be confused with Gas on Ethereum) by holding NEO in your NEO wallet or at Gas distribution supporting exchanges like Binance who will credit Gas in your account balance). One thing that seems a bit unpractical with NEO, especially in terms of using it for payments, is that the units of NEO are indivisible (the minimum amount for onchain transaction is 1 NEO), so for payments it may not be the most appropriate (Gas seems more practical for that), however if you see NEO as "shares" in the NEO network, it does make more sense. How is your opinion on NEO? And how do envision its future? Will it indeed become China's Ethereum and/or will China's government really embrace NEO as many believers are expecting? I'd love to read your comments!

Neo is great because it is ahead the curve in terms of adoption and companies actually building on top of their smart contracts platform. That makes it 2nd to ETH in my book. EOS, TRX, ICX, VET, ADA, still have a long ways to go.

I couldn't agree more on the current status of all these projects compared to where NEO is, although NEO does have a head start on most of the others, and between those other projects are definitely gonna be some fierce future competitors, but that has got to unfold in the near future still.
