A single GPU today is roughly equal to 30 CPUsASIC Mining – A single ASIC miner today is roughly equal to 400 GPUs (12,000 CPUs) Asic mining is for the risk takers and gives in better profit then the GPU Asic Produces more heat and noise so that case Asic needs separate room for mining .There are plenty of alternative coins that can still be mined with a GPU rig The GPU is capable of performing more calculations, leading to improved output for the crypto mining process

GPU mining can be profitable to some extent that is because there certain ASIC resistant algorithms that can only be mined with GPUs. The GPU, together with the hash rate, it’s of low price and power consumption it is considered to be the best technology for mining any crypto currency.
